The whole family is thrilled for Brab when she is a finalst for Mother of the Year but things take a bad turn at the ceremony

After the family is publiclly outted Sarah struggles even more to find her place in the family as well as who she is on her own. She joins a group for former Mornorns and makes friend with an older boy Scott.

Sarah comes clean with Scott that she's not excatly as old as she led him to think when they first met.

When Sarah learns that Ben and his girlfriend have been having sex she tries to give him advice.

Sarah wants to go on a date with Scott but worries that it may be a wrong idea. She goes to Heather for advice but still goes on the date anyways.

When Sarah is aware of the fact of where Rhonda is she struggles with weather to tell her mother the truth or not thinking that hiding it would be better for the family. Asking both new boyfriend Scott and Heather to help her.

Sarah and Heather find it hard to deal with Rhonda and her lies. Sarah finally tells her mother she knew where Rhonda was and she kept it from her to try and keep their family as normal as possible. Heather's father forbids Sarah and Heather to be friends any longer.

When Brab learns that her mother is getting remarried she begs for the children to be able to attend. Sarah and Scott fight over the fact that he is seeing other people besides she her. Sarah tries again to help Ben

2.12 - Oh, Pioneers
Sarah is still trying to help Ben see that the life style their father has chosen does not have to be his. She and Scott grow closer.
